Bill
Dempsey, born in Missouri, was raised on a cattle ranch and moved to
California as a teenager where he played high school baseball, football,
track, surfed the California beaches and skied the mountains.
He boxed for 6 years winning numerous championships. As a
Captain, Bill worked for the Ventura County Fire Department and was awarded
"Fireman of the Year" for his rescue work. During his fire department career,
he successfully pursued acting and has appeared on all the west coast soaps,
primetime dramas and over 200+ TV episodes.
He recently performed under the direction of Blake Edwards
"A Shot In The Dark" along with Julie Andrews, Robert Wagner and Jill St. John.
Bill is currently appearing as the media spokesperson for Filtermag and is
known as the "FilterMag Man" in several countries worldwide.
Along with numerous commercials and theater productions, he
has appeared on the cover of Money Magazine, interviewed on the Tom Brokaw
show (Bill's personal profile) and performs annually at the California
Calabasas Festival - Paramount Ranch. Affected by 911, Bill wrote a song
called "A Hero's Goodbye".
Bill is a member of Academy of Television Arts & Sciences,
SAG, Aftra, TVI Talent Ventures Inc., Academy Players Directory, Calabasas
Chamber of Commerce, and Golden State Boxer's Assn.
